A Letter To a Friend

It has been a quarter of the lives we should live through. A sequence of seamless times, time easy, times rough. Maybe it had it all, from times to mention again and times to be not spoken of again. You’ve been there, you will. I’ve talked about worlds past and will. To being the closest thing to my best friend, you mind stepping those shoes. Why is it that you don’t see this in a new light? My pieces of conflict and complications occur because of you. I know it, I know you, I’ve spoken to you in silence. To have explored landmarks left on the world on big cities. Doesn’t it look exciting? You enjoy being part of memories. Don’t realise how you don’t remain in only one anymore, how you’ve denied yourself to keep distances casual.  How long would it be best for us to stay in a bubble of denial. Maybe let’s meet again and revisit ourselves. Maybe this time you realise how you’ve scheduling a memory of you in many moments. There’s always a lot of world to see maybe differently. From someone to someone after endless battles with denials buried, a leap of faith to not let down again. For time has gone, with things happy and unknown, but for a seemless reality now. What if this never fades out?

Windy Ways

--------------------------------------------------------------xxx--------------------------------------------------

Then I walked across you swiftly as you noticed me

Touched your hand gently, as you felt the breeze

Moving through seasons all I, I come by surprise

Notice me you wouldn't, until you feel me move by

For your beautiful eyes can't see me

All that I do is just make them heavy

Nature calls to me as it's own and nature is divine

Valleys of mountains, trees and sea have seldom told

And it is all a creation of art, art sublime

Trails don't speak of me, they whisper and I mould

Travel across the alleys, alleys of the world whole

That is what I do, and never of what I'm told

Understand it now my sweet love, you're an obstruction in my move

Understand, I always have a way to go

Love to make you dance, sing and groove

Then You seek me in the summers and turn your back in the cold

Remember when I walk swiftly, you notice me bold

Remember as I make you feel good and fleek

This is my time to go, they call me the wind, you can call me the breeze and there, there I just brushed your cheek

Dream On

--------------------------------------------------xxx--------------------------------------------------------------

Have you ever heard people say things like

She’ll step back at your gate

It’s her to time to make you wait

That she will need to be by your side

Do you ever think about things like

The time you spent thinking on her lap

When your arm slept when she took a nap

That you will need to be by her side

All you need now is to take back what’s yours

All you need now is to take back what cures

The moment you let your guards down

Just when you need to feel her arms around

That’s when it hits you

She’s gone

Can you ever remember those times when

You felt so complete with her

She fell deeply just like her lover

You saved her from those bad men

Did you ever need her when

You lost that one and only friend

You had that one vivid dream

You saw her leave when you were mean

All you need now is to get back what’s yours

All you need now is to get back what cures

The moment you let your guards down

Just when you need to feel her arms around

That’s when it hits you

She’s gone

Now you see a shadow through the window

Now you hear a knock on the door

You see her standing there with a red nose

You walk up to kiss her, there the pain goes

After the sunset there came a sunrise

All you needed was to hold her tight

All you needed was to see her to your right

When you see those lips wrinkle her eyes

You are then and there mesmerized

That’s when it hits you

She’s a dream

Kuekuatsu

--------------------------------------------------xxx--------------------------------------------------------------

You never know where to end
You never find out where to begin
Things just go out of hand
That is when you give in

A long start of a starry night
Yet they dim with the moon light
The lonely survivor with its might
She stands alone in her fight

The lover the moon was
The lover she can never be
Dangling above a billion lives
She, the moon, can't find her lost cause

A path weary and frail
She goes around searching like Nightingale
She is a light that brightens at night
Not because of the darkness
But just the will to fight

To fight and find the piece she lost
The piece stolen, the piece gone
To find the peace that it holds for her
To hold on to it tight

A little stroll forward
She stumbles on to someone
Someone close to her all this while
Someone she met after a long while

The sun who traced her path
She stayed with joy and tears mix
That day was called an eclipse
Their story reigned for centuries
The Kuekuatsu couldn't beat destiny

Transforming Landscapes

--------------------------------------------------------xxx--------------------------------------------------------

Amidst this changing landscape I go

These places I didn't see before

Wondering how these hills were formed, so high

Take me to new scenes as the clouds above fly by

Hope it doesn't pass, this endless moment

These new places as I before never dreamt

Sparkling eyes with beauty intake

All that misses is the beauty you could never fake

Those eyes hid with childlike innocence

Your eyes, the natural beauty I miss

That hairdo so tidy and dense

Visit these landscapes next I will

Completing nature with the beauty of you

Thoughts of you made me feel so full

Little joy, love, faith and a little bit of fool

These moments I capture in my eyes and mind

All shall be complete when spaces between my fingers, yours they find

Season of Christmas

------------------------xxx----------------------------

''Twas a few nights before Christmas

Winter as cold as the mountain peaks

Dark moonlit night it was

The moon light which highlighted your cheeks

Sun was stolen from the sky

The shepherds sang the glory rhyme

Sat far you by the fire

Who you wait for, lady mine

Felt so lonely, felt so mild

It's a Christmas season, smile

Spread the joy, spread love around

The two things, hidden, in you I found

You sit there thinking about times

Times you fought, lost track of lines

Ever wonder where I might be

In the streets, the church or my reverie

Another chapter in my endless stories you write

Maybe not treat you like a princess, but my lady in white

Cold wind blows, making the hands cold

When I reach out, warm, your cheeks, like everglow

As 'twas the night before Christmas

I ran away from worldly business

Knew the place to go after the liquor round

Fast I ran, sweating in the winter so cold, I found

I found belief, believe I fell, but not down
